The Jolivet family entered the world of wine in 1926, when the Société de négoce Jolivet et fils was created. Until then, Louis Jolivet and Lucien Jolivet had succeeded each other as cellar masters at the Château de Tracy. Louis and Lucien made their selection, bought in bulk, bottled and marketed their wines in the Sancerre region.
Jacques Jolivet, son of Lucien, develops this activity while creating a beverage distribution structure. Wine is a passion for him and he recommends his son Pascal to become, at the age of 22, an agent for the famous Champagne house of Pommery which he still represents today. In 1983, Jacques Jolivet acquired a small trading company “Les Grands Vins du Val de Loire” and offered his eldest son Pascal, then aged 25, to take over the management.
The Attitude Red by Pascal Jolivet is a vibrant Pinot Noir, embodying the essence of its limestone and clay terroir with flint in Touraine. Its winemaking process, emphasizing maceration of destemmed grapes and aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for seven months without wood, brings out the wine's gourmet and fruity aromas. With notes of crushed red fruits like strawberry or raspberry and a spicy white pepper finish, this wine pairs wonderfully with Moroccan salads and white meats, best enjoyed at 12°C.
The Attitude White from Pascal Jolivet is a pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc, blending the unique terroirs of limestone, clay, and flint from the Chemery region in Touraine. This wine undergoes natural vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and is aged on fine lees for five months, highlighting its floral elegance and fruity vibrancy. With a dry, mineral character, it's perfect as an aperitif or paired with shellfish and both raw and cooked fish, served best at 10°C.
The Attitude Rosé from Pascal Jolivet is a testament to the elegance and refinement of Loire Valley wines. Crafted from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Gamay, this rosé is produced through direct pressing to emphasize its minerality and freshness. It undergoes a meticulous vinification process, including cold settling and natural fermentation, followed by aging for four months on fine lees in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. Its character is defined by floral notes of dried rose petals, a fruity elegance, and a distinct mineral finish, making it a delightful companion for Mediterranean dishes or as a refined aperitif served at 10°C.
